Back Advent

Advent refers to the two earthly visits of Christ to Earth.  The First Advent was the birth of Our Savior.  The Second Advent refers to His return at rapture.  Celebrating Advent helps everyone remember the real reason for the season.

The wreath used in Advent represents the Eternity of God.  The Wreath allows us to see what was has come and what is promised.

CANDLE OF HOPE

The First Purple Candle is Hope.  Hope is the underling them of most of the Old Testament.  Hope, in the future, God's word, God's Promises, and God's Son.

The Second Purple Candle represents the Preparation of the Old Testament in the Coming of the Child.  Preparation in our current lives for following the word, teachings, and path.  Preparation for the return and Eternal Life.

The Fourth Candle, Purple, represents the Love of God and the Son.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."  John 3:16.

The Love of Christ as he gave His Earthly life for our Sins, hung on a cross.
